Tại hội nghị Khoa học Mở Sáng kiến Chan Zuckerberg năm 2025, các thành viên ORFG đã có cơ hội chúc mừng openRxiv, tổ chức mới của bioRxiv và medRxiv. Khi ngày càng nhiều nhà tài trợ đưa ra các khuyến nghị và/hoặc yêu cầu về việc gửi bản thảo trước khi xuất bản trong chính sách nghiên cứu mở của họ, các máy chủ bản thảo trước xuất bản (preprint servers) cần có cơ sở hạ tầng mạnh mẽ và ổn định để hỗ trợ hệ sinh thái khoa học mở.

Trong suốt hội nghị, các thành viên ORFG đã tham gia và trình bày tại một số phiên thảo luận về mã định danh thường trực của các nhà tài trợ và nguồn tài trợ, nêu bật các chính sách khoa học mở của họ, thảo luận về tương lai của các ưu đãi khoa học mở, nêu bật các nỗ lực như Khung Chính sách Bản thảo trước khi xuất bản (Preprint Policy Framework), và nhiều hơn nữa.

Xin chúc mừng đội ngũ openRxiv vì những nỗ lực không ngừng nghỉ của họ trong việc cung cấp quyền truy cập vào các bản thảo trước khi xuất bản!

At the 2025 Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Open Science meeting, ORFG members had the opportunity to celebrate openRxiv, the new organizational home of bioRxiv and medRxiv. As more funders institute preprint deposit recommendations and/or requirements in their open research policies, preprints servers need robust, stable infrastructures to support the open science ecosystem.

While at the meeting, ORFG members participated in and presented at a number of sessions discussing funder and funding persistent identifiers, highlighting their open science policies, discussing the future of open science incentives, highlighting efforts like the Preprint Policy Framework, and more.

Hats off to the openRxiv team as they continue their work to provide access to preprints!
