SPARC vui mừng chào đón nhóm người của Chương trình Lãnh đạo Giáo dục Mở của SPARC 2021-2022, một chương trình phát triển nghề nghiệp tăng cường để trang bị cho những người chuyên nghiệp học thuật dẫn dắt các sáng kiến giáo dục mở đầy ảnh hưởng. Chương trình Lãnh đạo Giáo dục Mở của SPARC chào đào tạo tăng cường để trang bị cho những người chuyên nghiệp về học thuật các kiến thức, kỹ năng, và các kết nối tới các sáng kiến giáo dục mở thành công hàng đầu có lợi cho các sinh viên. Chương trình 2 học kỳ này pha trộn việc học tập trên trực tuyến, ngang hàng điểm - điểm, và dựa vào dự án để xây dựng sự hiểu biết toàn diện về không gian giáo dục mở đi kèm với tri thực thực hành để hành động trong và ngoài khu trường. Các nghiên cứu sinh tham gia như một phần của nhóm người trở thành một cộng đồng thực hành lành mạnh, được sự hỗ trợ chỉ dẫn và hướng dẫn cải thiện. Chương trình giảng dạy tiến hóa từng năm với sự phát triển của lĩnh vực giáo dục mở, và năm nay đặc trưng với trọng tâm gia tăng nhằm vào phát triển lãnh đạo dựa vào các điểm mạnh.

Nhóm người sắp tới bắt đầu chương trình hôm nay, 13/09, với phần giới thiệu do TS. Tanya Spilovoy dẫn dắt. Thông qua chương trình, từng nghiên cứu sinh sẽ phát triển và triển khai dự án mà cải thiện giáo dục mở địa phương và xuất bản tài nguyên được cấp phép mở làm lợi cho cộng đồng rộng lớn hơn. Từng nghiên cứu sinh được ghép đôi với người hướng dẫn để cung cấp sự phát triển lãnh đạo một - một, nhiều trong số họ tới từ những cựu nghiên cứu sinh của chương trình. Trong học kỳ đầu, nhóm này sẽ tham dự Hội nghị Giáo dục Mở (bản dịch sang tiếng Việt) thường niên trên trực tuyến vào tháng 10, nơi họ sẽ kết nối với nhau và nhúng họ vào cộng đồng giáo dục mở.

SPARC đã khởi xướng Chương trình Lãnh đạo Giáo dục Mở vào năm 2017 để phục vụ cho nhu cầu ngày càng gia tăng về phát triển nghề nghiệp giáo dục mở từ các thành viên của chúng tôi. Chương trình này đã cho tốt nghiệp 4 nhóm với tổng số 84 nghiên cứu sinh từ 2017, và lớp học năm nay sẽ làm con số đó tăng lên hơn 100. Biết rằng mối quan tâm về chương trình tiếp tục gia tăng, chúng tôi hy vọng tổ chức chương trình tiếp lần thứ 6 cho năm 2022-2023. Các đơn xin sẽ là sẵn sàng vào mùa xuân 2022. SPARC is pleased to welcome the 2021-2022 cohort for the SPARC Open Education Leadership Program, an intensive professional development program to empower academic professionals to lead impactful open education initiatives. As the program enters its fifth year, the incoming cohort is composed of 25 fellows from a wide range of backgrounds, spanning from open education librarians, student leaders, and government program coordinators. Selected from a competitive application pool, the 2021-2022 fellows begin the program this week.

The SPARC Open Education Leadership Program offers intensive training to empower academic professionals with the knowledge, skills, and connections to lead successful open education initiatives that benefit students. The two-semester program blends online, peer-to-peer, and project-based learning to build a comprehensive understanding of the open education space coupled with practical know-how to take action on campus and beyond. Fellows participate as part of a cohort that becomes a vibrant community of practice, enhanced by expert instruction and mentorship support. The curriculum evolves each year with the growth of the open education field, and this year features an increased focus on strengths-based leadership development.

The incoming cohort begins the program today, September 13, with instruction led by Dr. Tanya Spilovoy. Throughout the program, each fellow will develop and implement a capstone project that advances open education locally and publish an openly-licensed resource that benefits the broader community. Each fellow gets paired with a mentor to provide one-on-one leadership development, many of whom come from the program’s growing alumni pool. During the first semester, the cohort will attend the annual Open Education Conference virtually in October, where they will connect with each other and immerse themselves in the open education community.

SPARC launched the Open Education Leadership Program in 2017 to serve the increasing demand for open education professional development from our members. The program has graduated four cohorts totaling 84 fellows since 2017, and this year’s class will bring that number over 100. Given that interest in the program continues to grow, we hope to run the program again for a sixth year in 2022-2023. Applications will be available in the spring of 2022.
